Showcased here is one of many documentary style video ads produced for Pikes Peak Community College. This one in particular featured Kimberly Moon, a full-time mother of four who decided to go back to school and become a nurse.
Reversing stigma in the educational system has been an effort of local community colleges for decades. And bringing that message to life through documentary filmmaking has been some of the most rewarding experiences of our collective careers. We’ve been working with the marketing department at Pikes Peak Community College for many years now as we follow real individuals as part of their “Make it Happen” campaign. We’ve collaborated on a number of different commercial campaigns so that they can increase enrollment and show real-life stories of how the college has turned student’s lives around. Compelling storytelling and video was the best way to do that.
All commercial spots that were produced had to be translated and subtitled in Spanish, as well as formatted for a number of different digital and broadcast platforms.
