CDOT’s The Long Road: Navigating a DUI Arrest Video Campaign

In association with CIG, we produced six :90-2min documentary style videos that focused on the different stages one might navigate upon receiving a DUI. The campaign covered these themes: the Arrest, Jail and Legal Fees, License Reinstatement, Interlock Device, MADD Victim Panels and Education and Treatment.

We interviewed a specialist and captured relevant BROLL for each category. Some videos had more access than others – for example, filming at the Jefferson County Courthouse, working with the Colorado State Patrol to “re-enact” a DUI arrest or visiting Smartlock to capture a Interlock Device installation. But we worked with CIG to coordinate and capture unique footage when possible.

In addition, we created a simple design look for the motion graphics so that the campaign matched their marketing materials.

It was an awesome time working on this video production project with all the partners (CSP, MADD, in and around Denver.
